Trying to catch up!!

I am so far behind! We are all doing great but we have been super busy... I am going to take a series of posts and try to explain what we've been up to.

First, each year we make a trek to what seems like a very unWaldorfy sort of place.... although it might look unWaldorf from the start, you'd be surprised just how Waldorf it actually is... this place is FULL of creativity - you'd be surprised at how many Waldorf school grads present here each year and how much fun it can be. Now I'm not saying it isn't without some eye brow raising, but it can be a fun family vacation and I don't know of a man in his 30's who wouldn't give their right arm to go play here for four days... so why do I love it? well I got to meet this man there last year...

who is this man??? It's Deepak! Many don't know that he writes comics for the Virgin label and his comics ROCK! He writes a wonderful line of Hindu mythology that have really helped me to dig in and love the pantheon and understand the symbolism and culture much more. He is a wonderful man and very fun, he was great to chat with me and listen to me babble about the work that Erik and I are doing.

There is something for everyone at Comic Con - we have a blast. The coming posts will be about our time at Comic Con and our time in my favorite city, San Diego.
